Pro Grade Nitrate Shots by Soccer Supplements -12 x 60ml The shot bottles arrive in the manufactures box with a tamperproof cellophane seal. The bottles are plastic with a **** topped cap and have a heat shrieked plastic covering the whole seal section of the bottle to prevent any leakage therefor you do not always have to have the bottle standing upright because they are securely sealed. Very handy. To open you remove the plastic covering which may be tricky in colder weather due to numb hands. The drinks are fruity flavoured mixed berry taste and quite pleasant and sweet not chemical. As someone who works shifts and quite often can't face the cycle ride home afterwards these have been a tremendous boost for those times and they really do work. I very much doubt it's the placebo effect as I can actually feel the power in my legs especially on slopes.

These do a good job of increasing blood flow and pushing you past your limits, would recommend!

I was quite sceptical about the supplementation of these Nitrate shots into my exercise / daily routine, however I definitely think that they've made a difference, and I'm not sure that it's just a placebo effect either. There is some evidence behind the supplementation of Nitrates, and they are usually attributed to a higher anaerobic performance (approx 5% increase). These shots claim to increase your endurance, and increase efficiency when performing high-intensity exercises such as sprinting or football. First of all, I didn't really like how hard it was to open one of these shots. I feel that especially when you're on the go, this could pose some trouble as well. The smell of the shots were akin to a raspberry jam I feel, very fruity! When I tasted these for the first time, they were a little salty, but I'm used to this as I usually drink sports / electrolyte drinks and it's only natural that they are like that. I did like the taste, you get mostly a raspberry / strawberry taste, which is quite sweet, but not too much. Overall I'm definitely one who follows the science of supplements and it seems that these Nitrate shots are a great way to improve my blood flow, blood pressure and overall performance when exercising. Definitely recommend them if you're a high-performance athlete looking for ways to increase your performance and run that extra 3-5%!

like these shot bottles a lot. The berry flavour is nice and doesn’t taste artificial. The caffeine content is very high at 400mg and if you’re not used to taking caffeine I’d gradually build up. I tend to take 100-200 mg when training. You wouldn’t want to consume one of these closer to bedtime! There are cheaper options but I live having one of these in my gym bag ready to go. Very happy!

These shots are great. I use them pre workout, before going on a run or to the gym. The mixed berry is actually really very nice straight from the fridge and the shot bottles are convenient for your bag. Around the time I would be usually be feeling fatigued I feel alert and more together. I find it effective to use them in the few days leading up to a big run. I’d recommend them prior to a upcoming match or event. They are a fair price in my opinion and work well. I hope you find my review helpful.
